State & Federal Legislative Committee
The State & Federal Legislative Committee tracks state and federal legislation corresponding to the CCSESA Legislation Priorities. The committee takes positions on legislative bills and advocates on behalf of county offices of education and other educational organizations.

The CCSESA State & Federal Legislative Committee is comprised of a chair, chair-elect, 11 county superintendent representatives of each of the eleven CCSESA service regions in California, one liason from each of the five CCSESA steering committees, and a federal legislative advocate. The eleven regional representatives serve a two-year term that coincides with the state legislative session. In addition the Committee holds monthly meetings during each legislative session.
